Actor Saif Ali Khan Stabbed During Burglary Attempt

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan got attacked and was stabbed multiple times, at his home in Mumbai, early Thursday morning. He was stabbed six times including a serious injury in his spine. His elder son, Ibrahim Khan rushed him to Lilavati hospital, where doctors removed a knife from his spine. Fortunately, Khan is now out of danger and is recovering. 

According to Mumbai Police India, the attacker is connected to one of the actor’s staff members. Investigations also revealed that the robber demanded 1 crore Indian rupees before launching the assault at his home. The attacker has however fled from the scene but got caught staring at a CCTV camera walking down the stairs.

Mumbai police have filed a case against him with serious charges. The attack has caused a uproar among political leaders and people calling Mumbai “the capital of crime” and criticizing the state government’s handling of law and order. 

Further investigation on the case is going on and several teams are working to catch the attacker.
