5-Hour Power Outage in These Areas of Kathmandu Today

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a power outage in some areas of Kathmandu today.

According to the notice, electricity will be cut from 11 AM to 4 PM in places like Kanchan Gate, Bosigaun, Bouthali, and Satungal Chowk, which fall under the Balambu feeder. This is being done to upgrade the conductor capacity and carry out other necessary work. NEA has apologized for the inconvenience and said that if the work is finished early, power will be restored before the scheduled time.

Similarly, the Mulpani Substation Construction Project has also planned a power outage in areas like Baneshwor, Maharajgunj, Ratnapark, Jorpati, Balaju, and Kuleshwor until the evening. This is to complete technical work for the new substation.
