The U.S. government, under President Donald Trump, is continuing its aggressive deportation campaign, with 1,445,549 illegal immigrants set to be sent back to their home countries. Among those, 1,365 are Nepali nationals, according to a list released by the U.S. Immigration Office.
Trump's administration initiated this large-scale deportation effort shortly after taking office, signing an executive order to intensify the removal of undocumented immigrants.
The majority of those being deported come from Central American countries, including 261,651 from Honduras, 253,413 from Guatemala, 252,044 from Mexico, and 203,822 from El Salvador. Additionally, 37,908 individuals from China and 17,940 from India are also on the deportation list.
