Writer Sues Actor Anmol KC and 'Farki Farki' Team for Misusing Phone Number

Writer Narendra Bahadur Shrestha has filed a case against actor Anmol KC and the team behind the movie Farki Farki, accusing them of misusing his phone number in the film.

In the complaint submitted to the Kathmandu District Court through his representative on Monday, Shrestha claimed that the use of his personal number without permission caused him mental and physical distress. He also said he repeatedly asked the MSM OTT platform to remove his number, but no action was taken.

According to court official Deepak Kumar Shrestha, the lawsuit demands legal action and appropriate compensation for the harm caused.

The petition lists actor Anmol KC, director Suyog Gurung, producer Rohit Adhikari, and the Film Review Committee as defendants, and requests that they be punished according to the law. It also mentions that Shrestha had informed film regulatory authorities several times before filing the case, but received no response.
