President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the goal of Nepal’s federal democratic republican system is to listen to the people's voices, fulfill their wishes, and build a prosperous Nepal through good governance.
Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 251st birth anniversary of national hero Bhimsen Thapa, President Paudel said this system is the way to fulfill the responsibilities passed down by our ancestors and history.
He mentioned that Nepal has reached the current stage by passing through many historical phases and that the current governance system focuses on hearing people's concerns, delivering on their hopes, and ensuring development and progress.
Recalling his own writings, President Paudel said he has always believed in ending the country’s cursed history of conspiracies and is committed to leading Nepal towards an open, honest, and progressive society.
