The Election Commission (EC) has concluded the voter registration period for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21. The deadline had been extended to accommodate a surge in new voter registrations, and over 700,000 new voters were added during this period.
The EC has now set Mangsir 21–27 as the window to correct errors in the voter list. Citizens can submit complaints or requests if their names are missing, included multiple times, contain incorrect information, or belong to deceased or renounced citizens.
Following verification of all submissions, the final voter list will be published at the respective district and ward offices on Poush 15. The EC has urged voters to check their names and ensure all details are accurate ahead of the elections.
