The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal has issued a travel advisory for Nepali citizens after recent developments between Israel and Iran.

In a statement, the ministry has advised Nepali citizens not to travel to Israel, Iran, or other Middle Eastern countries for visit, foreign employment, or any other purposes until the situation improves.

The ministry said that due to the current complicated situation, Nepali citizens planning to travel to these countries should postpone their trips for now.

It also mentioned that the Government of Nepal is closely watching the situation between Israel and Iran. So far, all Nepali citizens living there are safe, and the government will take necessary steps to protect them if needed.

For those who want to return to Nepal from Israel or Iran, the ministry said that since direct flights are currently closed, they might have to travel through a third country. In such cases, Nepali citizens may need a transit visa, and the ministry will help to make the process easier.

Nepali citizens in Israel and Iran have been requested to stay indoors or in shelters unless necessary, and to follow safety guidelines issued by the Israeli government.

The ministry also urged Nepalis to stay in regular contact with the Nepali community, the Nepali Embassy, and to follow updates from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Additionally, the ministry asked Nepalis living there to register their details online through the link available on the websites of the Ministry, Consular Department, and the Nepali Embassy in Tel Aviv for easier rescue and help if needed.
