Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Saturday).
The value of the US dollar, which was at its highest on Thursday and Friday, has dropped today.
Similarly, currencies like the euro, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar have become cheaper.
However, some currencies, such as the Australian dollar and the pound, have become more expensive.
According to NRB's exchange rates, the buying rate for one US dollar today is 139.59 rupees, and the selling rate is 140.19 rupees.
Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was 139.83 rupees, and the selling rate was 140.43 rupees.
This is the highest price the US dollar has reached in the Nepali market, although it has decreased today after reaching its peak yesterday.
For today, the buying rate of one euro is 144.90 rupees, and the selling rate is 145.52 rupees.
Yesterday, the buying rate of one euro was 144.96 rupees, and the selling rate was 145.58 rupees.
The buying rate of one pound sterling today is 173.84 rupees, and the selling rate is 174.59 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate of one pound sterling was 173.78 rupees, and the selling rate was 174.53 rupees.
For today, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is 87.70 rupees, and the selling rate is 88.08 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate of one Australian dollar was 87.64 rupees, and the selling rate was 88.01 rupees.
For today, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is 452.27 rupees, and the selling rate is 454.22 rupees. Yesterday, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar was 453.12 rupees, and the selling rate was 455.06 rupees.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar today is 370.27 rupees, and the selling rate is 371.86 rupees.
Yesterday, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar was 370.91 rupees, and the selling rate was 372.49 rupees.
