The House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is scheduled to meet today at 1:00 PM.
However, opposition parties have been disrupting the meetings because of a disagreement over the ‘visit visa’ issue.
Because of this, the House has been repeatedly stopped without completing its planned work, as talks between parties have not yet reached any agreement.
In today’s meeting, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is expected to present a proposal to start a general discussion about the government’s income and spending plans for the fiscal year 2082/83. There will likely be a debate on this proposal as well.
Also, Ramhari Khatiwada, the Chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, will present the committee’s report on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082.
Due to ongoing disruptions by the main opposition and other parties, parliament has not been able to carry out its regular work in recent days.
