The stock market saw a drop after two days of increase. The NEPSE index fell by 24.97 points, reaching 2,750.87 points. While shares in hydroelectric, manufacturing, and microfinance sectors increased, shares in development banks, finance, insurance and trading sectors dropped significantly.

Shares of Support Microfinance and Life Insurance Corporation Nepal fell by 10%. However, some hydropower companies saw an increase. Shares of Khani Khola Hydropower, Joshi Hydropower, and River Falls Power rose by almost 10%.

Although the NEPSE index dropped, the total trading amount increased. This shows that even though the market dropped, the trading activity was higher today.
