Speaker Ghimire and Prachanda Talk About Ending House Obstruction

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Devraj Ghimire, and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had a meeting to discuss ending the obstruction in the House.

During the meeting, Speaker Ghimire asked Prachanda to help open the House. Maoist Center Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey said the Speaker told Prachanda, “The House must open soon. It has been closed for too long.”

In reply, Prachanda said he was working to solve the problem. “I am serious about opening the House. I am trying,” Prachanda said, according to Pandey.

The meetings of the House have been stopped many times because the opposition is demanding an investigation into the visit visa case involving Ramesh Lekhak.
