Gyanendra Shahi, the chief whip of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will be fully responsible if any violence breaks out during their planned protest on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters at the Parliament, Shahi accused the Prime Minister of trying to create unrest by giving provocative speeches and gathering crowds, which he said goes against the Constitution and the law.
“Our protest will be peaceful. If anything goes wrong, the Prime Minister will be held responsible,” Shahi said. He also mentioned that the National Human Rights Commission has already spoken about the issue.
Shahi said the protest will take place at Shantibatika in Ratnapark and challenged the Prime Minister to resign and come to the streets if he wants to confront the protesters.
