The MPs from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have boycotted today's parliamentary meeting, continuing their protest demanding an investigation against Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the visit visa scandal.

They stayed in the House for a while during Sunday’s session but walked out as soon as a ruling party MP began to speak.

Earlier, the RSP lawmakers had surrounded the well of the parliament and stood in protest for over an hour. They quietly listened while opposition party MPs were speaking on the budget. However, they left the hall the moment Nepali Congress MP Arjun Narsingh KC started his speech.

RSP has been obstructing parliament meetings since Jestha 13 (May 26), demanding the resignation of Home Minister Lekhak for his alleged involvement in the visit visa case.
