The Member of Parliament from Rupandehi constituency no. 3, Deepak Bohora, has passed away. Bohora, a senior leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and former minister, died in the course of treatment at Om Hospital in Kathmandu. He was 74.
Unable to speak after coronavirus infection during the 2019 pandemic, the lawmaker used to share his thoughts, comments and concerns in the Parliament through his colleagues by writing them down. He had visited New York for treatment after his condition worsened. He had been undergoing speech therapy since then.
