Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chair Rajendra Lingden has demanded the formation of a high-level judicial commission to investigate issues ranging from the visit visa controversy to alleged “bribe deals” involving ministers.

Speaking at the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Lingden said that the investigation should not be limited to visit visas alone. “There are reports about several ministers being involved in corruption, including taking commissions by inflating prices. A judicial probe commission must be formed to look into all of this,” he stated.

Lingden also warned that RPP will continue to protest in Parliament until the commission is formed. If the government ignores their demand, he cautioned, they will take their protest to the streets. “If the government doesn’t correct itself and hold dialogue, we will respond through street protests at the right time,” he added.
