Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Prasad Lingden, said that the RPP could take the lead in the government before 2084. In the inauguration ceremony of the Birtamod Municipality convention on Sunday he mentioned that RPP could be the leading force before 2084.
Lingden emphasized on increasing the activity of RPP. He stated that the party no longer has the luxury of waiting and watching, and that now is the time for the RPP to take the country's leadership. He claimed that if the RPP does not assume leadership before 2084, it will do so by becoming the major political force in the 2084 elections.
Lingden further criticized the current government, mentioning that citizens are unhappy with their rule. He also said that the Prime Minister and ministers in the current government do not have the freedom to act according to their wishes.
Lingden remarked that the ruling parties, including Congress, UML, and CPN (Maoist Center), have become unpopular among the people due to their actions.
