Narayan Gopal who was born in 1939 and died in 1990 was a renowned Nepali singer and musician, often regarded as one of the most iconic voices in Nepalese music history. He is best Known for his soulful voice and emotional depth. He made significant contributions to Nepali folk and modern music. His most famous songs, includes:

Sambodhan –Regarded as one of his masterpiece.

Euta Manchhe Ko Maya Le  – A deeply soulful song expressing the pain and beauty of love.

Yo Mann Ta Mero Nepali – A patriotic song that resonates with the Nepali identity and pride.

Parelima – A well-loved song that has touched many with its melody and lyrics.

He passed away on December 5, 1990, at the age of 51. His death was a result of a heart attack, which occurred after he had been suffering from health issues, including high blood pressure. His untimely passing deeply shocked the Nepali music community and left a significant void in the cultural landscape of Nepal. Even decades after his untimely passing, his music continues to resonate with the hearts of millions, and his legacy remains a beacon for future generations of artists.
