Ranju Nyaupane Wins Kathmandu-1, Vows to Deliver Results

Ranju Nyaupane has won the House of Representatives election in Kathmandu-1.

After securing her victory, she held a press conference to thank the voters. She said, “This election took place under special circumstances. Both the candidate and the party had adopted a special strategy. The voters clearly responded in a special way. For 35–36 years, those who repeatedly deceived the Nepalese citizens have now been told ‘the door is closed,’ and the voters made that clear. This is very gratifying for us.”

Nyaupane stated that, having achieved this significant victory, it is now essential to deliver results through action. She emphasized that the real fight begins now and described this as a victory for conscientious politics.

She added, “This win is also a challenge for us. Since we have achieved such an important victory, we must now show results through our work. The real fight is just beginning. I want to express my gratitude to every voter in Kathmandu-1. This is also a victory for conscientious politics.”
