Minister Aryal stated that if the election had not been conducted, the country, the constitution, and even humanity could have been at risk. He said the government’s goal was to ensure a fair and strong election, claiming that this election was more qualitative and robust than previous ones.

“This election has assured the protection of humanity, the nation, and the constitution. If this election had not taken place, our country, constitution, and humanity could have been at risk. Now we have successfully completed a fair election. This time the election has been more qualitative and stronger,” he said.

He also informed that security measures were tightened in areas where violent clashes could occur during the election, and such incidents were controlled in time. “Except for one or two places, there were no major violent incidents. Even where clashes were likely, they were prevented and brought under control,” he added.

Aryal noted that in previous elections, voting had often been suspended in several places and re-polling had to be conducted. However, this time voting was completed across the country simultaneously without any suspension.

He emphasized the need to further strengthen the standards of political governance through such practices and expressed hope that future governments would continue to maintain these standards.

Aryal further said, “Everyone knows that not even a drop of blood was shed this time. Since our government was formed, there has been no bloodshed from political violence. Even during the election, violent clashes were almost nonexistent, and where they attempted to occur, they were prevented and controlled. In this way, voting was completed across the country at once, and there was no need for suspension anywhere.”
