The Nepali film Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi continues to break records, with a milestone celebration planned for this Friday as it marks its 51st day of screening across 38 theaters in Nepal. This is the first time in the Nepali film industry to achieve this feat across such a large number of halls, according to Manoj Rathi from Bankatesh Entertainment.
The film has earned a remarkable 49.25 crore rupees (approximately 3.6 million US dollars) in just 42 days in Nepal. Bankatesh Entertainment is set to reveal the total earnings by the 51st day.
The film has also performed well internationally, grossing 23.35 crore rupees (around 1.73 million US dollars) from seven foreign markets. The total global earnings of Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi now stand at 72.6 crore rupees (roughly 5.33 million US dollars).
Directed by Saroj Paudel and produced by Seven Seas Entertainment, the film explores the deep bond between father and son, starring Bijay Baral, Anjana Baraili, Prakash Saput, and child actor Swayam KC.
