Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the friendship between Nepal and China should continue to grow and be passed on to future generations. He assured that the Government of Nepal will make every effort to further strengthen this relationship.

 

Speaking at the Nepal-China Cultural Summit 2025, organized by Phoenix Inspiration to mark the 70th anniversary of Nepal-China diplomatic ties, PM Oli highlighted the deep historical and cultural connection between the two countries. He said such events send a strong message of mutual cultural understanding and help build lasting friendship.

 

“This will help strengthen our bond from generation to generation. Relations are not just about exchanges, but about shared emotions and cultural values,” he said. “The government will leave no stone unturned to advance our friendship. True friendship doesn’t require wealth — it requires goodwill and mutual respect.”

 

During the event, PM Oli also honored several individuals with awards. Kathmandu Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol received the Youth Empowerment Award, while Rajeshkaji Shrestha and Birendra Raj Pandey received the Business Leadership Award. Anuradha Sharma was honored with the Excellence in Education Award.
