Prachanda visits Tehrathum for inaugurations, meetings with locals, and political training for party workers.

Puspa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), the chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre), has gone to the eastern hilly district Tehrathum by helicopter. Maoist Deputy General Secretary Varshaman Pun is also with him.
Prachanda will take part in several programs in Tehrathum today and tomorrow. Today, he will inaugurate the Martyr Dhanrupa Park in Lasune, Laliguras Municipality-7. After that, he will visit the birthplace of Prime Minister and UML leader KP Oli in Aathrai. He will also lay the foundation stone for the Martyrs' Memorial Park and the People's War and Peace Museum in Aatharai-3, where 18 Maoist fighters and three civilians were killed by security forces on Magh 14, 2058.
Prachanda will also visit the tourist site of Jhakri Cave Park in Aatharai-2. Tonight, he will stay at Chuhandanda bajar in Aatharai-6. On Tuesday morning, he will meet party workers, locals, and the family of late Maoist leader Bhaktaraj Kandangwa. He will also unveil a statue of Kandangwa. In the afternoon, Prachanda will give political training to party workers at Tehrathum Multi-purpose Campus before returning to Kathmandu.
Prachanda had once taken a teaching job at Sharda Secondary School in Chuhandanda during the end of the Panchayat system. He had received his appointment letter and traveled to the district headquarters in Myanglung but returned after realizing the school was in a very remote area.
