Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, said that the new political alliance formed in Madhesh Province will soon appear in other provinces too.

Speaking at the NCP Madhesh Province Unity Assembly in Janakpur on Saturday, Prachanda said that the political arrangements people expected earlier have now changed with the formation of the new provincial government. He stated that this new alliance, which began in Madhesh, will gradually spread across all provinces.

Prachanda explained that the Gen-Z movement started because people did not feel real improvements in their daily lives even after Nepal became a republic. According to him, this movement has given political parties a chance to reflect on their actions and make improvements.

He added that, after reviewing their own weaknesses in response to the Gen-Z movement, the party has started working toward greater unity and new ideas for national development. Prachanda stressed that only the unity of the people can defeat regressive forces, and claimed that the NCP will lead this effort.

He also said that the party plans to bring leftists and revolutionaries from UML and other communist groups under the umbrella of the Nepali Communist Party.

Prachanda noted that major development projects in Madhesh Province were started under left-led governments, and he believes communist leadership is necessary to complete these projects.

Similarly, NCP Co-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal said that many young people are now joining the party, and youth support has grown strongly. He said the NCP will play an important role in promoting good governance, ending corruption, and addressing the demands raised by the Gen-Z movement.

Other party leaders stated that the NCP aims to become a strong political force and solve the various irregularities in the country. The party has been holding unity assemblies in different provinces and has announced upcoming events in Karnali and Kathmandu.
