Prabhu Insurance Announces Dividend from Last Year’s Profit

Prabhu Insurance has decided to give dividends to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year.

The company’s board of directors made the decision during its meeting on Sunday. According to the decision, shareholders will receive an 18 percent bonus share. Along with that, the company will also distribute 0.9474 percent cash dividend to cover tax purposes.

This proposed dividend will be distributed only after getting approval from the Insurance Board of Nepal. After that, it also needs to be passed by the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM).

Last year, the company had given a 5 percent dividend to its shareholders.
