Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli emphasized the need for a "next-level revolution" to bring transformation to the lives of the people, though not of a political nature.
Addressing a program organized by the CPN (UML) in Parsa, the Prime Minister and party chair stated that the current government is focused on creating positive changes in people's lives and advancing national development. "Revolution is necessary, but we are not talking about a political revolution," PM Oli clarified, adding that empowering citizens is a top priority for his government.
He further highlighted the importance of boosting production and entrepreneurship as key areas of focus. PM Oli urged the public to have faith in the government's efforts towards achieving prosperity and good governance.
The Prime Minister also expressed his commitment to past projects, including the construction of 13 modern cities along the Postal Highway, the Sunkoshi Marin Diversion, and initiatives to increase agricultural production and income. He emphasized that these projects would be fast-tracked once again.
PM Oli also announced that the Town Hospital in Pokhariya, Parsa, has been upgraded, and a service center for the Land Survey and Land Revenue Office has been established to meet local demands. Additionally, he assured that an Area Administration Office would be set up soon.
At the program, he urged local party leadership to prioritize mobilizing women and youth to engage with the community.
