PM Oli Asserts Government Is Strong Foundation For Development

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli emphasized that the current government, formed through collaboration between Nepal's two major political parties, provides a solid foundation for the nation’s development and political stability. 

In his speech at the inauguration of a new administrative building in Bhaktapur, Oli highlighted the government's commitment to advancing development, noting that past regimes focused solely on power rather than progress. He stressed that development requires a strong system and capable leadership. Oli also addressed misinformation about his health, criticizing the spread of photos depicting him in the ICU during a mild illness. 

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to stability and promised continued cooperation with the Nepali Congress (NC). Oli also outlined plans for upcoming legislation, including possible constitutional amendments, while urging citizens to embrace democratic practices and unity. He called for a break from divisive politics and stressed the importance of working together for national development.
