100 Feared Dead as Plane Crashes in San Diego

A small plane crashed in a residential area of San Diego, USA, and it is estimated that around 100 people may have died.

According to the BBC, the crash happened on Thursday, at around 3:45 am local time. Eight people were injured in the crash, and more than 15 houses and vehicles were damaged.

The famous musician Dave Shapiro was on board the crashed plane, according to his company. He is known for working with popular bands like Sum 41, Story of the Year and Pierce the Veil.

The small plane could carry around 8 to 10 people, said Dan Eddy, the assistant chief of the local fire department. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
