Dengue has now spread widely across Nepal, with Bagmati Province seeing the highest infections, while Dolpa and Manang remain unaffected.

More than 6,600 dengue cases have been confirmed across 75 districts of Nepal, according to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD). At least five deaths due to dengue have been reported so far, the EDCD’s Vector-Borne Disease Unit Chief Dr. Gokarna Dahal said.
Currently, Dolpa and Manang remain free of confirmed dengue cases. The Bagmati Province has recorded the highest number of cases, with 1,649 people infected.
Other provinces reporting significant cases include Gandaki with 1,631, Lumbini 1,117, Koshi 896, Sudurpaschim 762, Karnali 474, and Madhesh 139.
