One More Held for Smashing Traffic Lights at Jadibuti, Torching Herbs Production & Processing Center

Police have arrested one more individual on the charge of smashing traffic lights at Jadibuti Chowk, and vandalizing and setting afire the Herbs Production and Processing Center (HPPC) during the protest of pro-royalist forces in Tinkune and Koteshwor on March 28.

Police have arrested one more individual on the charge of smashing traffic lights at Jadibuti Chowk, and vandalizing and setting afire the Herbs Production and Processing Center (HPPC) during the protest of pro-royalist forces in the Tinkune-Koteshwor area on March 28.

They identified the arrestee as Ranjit Basnet (18) of Balefi rural municipality-6, Sindhupalchowk district. 
On April 8, police arrested Kumar Tamang (27) of Ramche, Barhabishe municipality-9, Kavre district, on the charge of smashing the traffic lights and setting the HPPC afire during the March 28 protest.  

So far, police have arrested more than 70 people in connection with the violence that took place during the March 28 protest, including RPP leaders Dhawal Shumsher Rana and Rabindra Mishra, and the self-styled commander of the protest, Durga Prasain, as well as his bodyguard DIpak Khadka.
