Oli Urges UML Lawmakers to Defend Budget with Facts

Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has told party lawmakers to use facts and data to respond to the opposition during upcoming budget discussions in Parliament.

Speaking at a UML parliamentary party meeting at Lhotse Hall in the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwar, Oli stressed the importance of giving clear and logical arguments in favor of the budget.

“Budget discussions will start from tomorrow. Our members should explain clearly why the budget is necessary. The opposition may try to confuse people with false claims,” Oli said. “We must respond strongly and logically, using facts and figures.”

He also asked lawmakers to speak briefly and stay focused on their topics when speaking in the House.
