Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has urged lawmakers to have an unwavering faith in the policies and programs of his government, asserting that all of them are correct.
Addressing a meeting of the party's parliamentary committee held at the official residence in Baluwatar on Saturday, Oli reassured lawmakers of the government's direction. "What I want to request from our honorable members is that our policies are right. You can move forward with confidence in that belief," said Oli. "The opposition seems to think that they must oppose everything, no matter what. They are unwilling to support even a single point."
He further stated that it is not necessary to overly dwell on whether the opposition’s claims are true. “They are compelled to oppose even what is right, and this will leave a negative record for them in the future—one that will persist far beyond our generation,” Oli added.
Referring to the government’s newly-introduced policies and programs, which were unveiled just a day earlier, Oli instructed lawmakers to study them thoroughly and present their arguments effectively during discussions. "While speaking, make sure there is no slip-up. Your points should be strong and clear," he emphasized.
