NRB Updates Currency Rates: Dollar at Rs 136.94, INR at Rs 160.15

Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for Saturday. As per the new rates, one US dollar is being bought for Rs 136.34 and sold for Rs 136.94. The euro is being bought at Rs 160.58 and sold at Rs 161.29. The British pound is available at Rs 186.10 for buying and Rs 186.92 for selling, while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 171.83 and Rs 172.59 respectively.

The Australian dollar is priced at Rs 89.43 for buying and Rs 89.82 for selling. Similarly, the Canadian dollar can be bought for Rs 100.31 and sold for Rs 100.75. The Singapore dollar’s rates are Rs 107.05 (buying) and Rs 107.52 (selling). For ten Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.45 and the selling rate is Rs 9.49. The Chinese yuan is exchanged at Rs 19.04 for buying and Rs 19.12 for selling.

The Saudi riyal stands at Rs 36.35 for buying and Rs 36.51 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is at Rs 37.41 and Rs 37.57. The Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.22 and sold at Rs 4.24. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 37.12 and selling rate of Rs 37.28. The Malaysian ringgit is priced at Rs 32.30 for buying and Rs 32.44 for selling.

One hundred South Korean won are valued at Rs 10.00 for buying and Rs 10.05 for selling. The Swedish krona’s rates are Rs 14.27 (buying) and Rs 14.34 (selling), while the Danish krone is traded at Rs 21.52 and Rs 21.62. The Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 17.37 and sold at Rs 17.45.

Among the high-value currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is the most expensive, with a buying rate of Rs 446.67 and selling rate of Rs 448.64. The Bahraini dinar is exchanged at Rs 361.67 for buying and Rs 363.26 for selling, and the Omani riyal stands at Rs 354.13 and Rs 355.69 respectively. Lastly, the Indian currency is being traded at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling per 100 Indian rupees.
