Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday. According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought for Rs 136.67 and sold for Rs 137.27. The euro is bought at Rs 156.15 and sold at Rs 156.84, while the pound is bought for Rs 184.47 and sold for Rs 185.28. The Swiss franc is being exchanged at Rs 166.42 for buying and Rs 167.15 for selling.
The Australian dollar is bought at Rs 89.06 and sold at Rs 89.45, and the Canadian dollar is exchanged at Rs 99.84 for buying and Rs 100.27 for selling. The Singapore dollar’s buying rate is Rs 106.29 and selling rate is Rs 106.76. For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.45 and the selling rate is Rs 9.50. The Chinese yuan is exchanged at Rs 19.02 for buying and Rs 19.11 for selling.
Among other currencies, the Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs 36.44 and sold at Rs 36.60, while the Qatari riyal is bought at Rs 37.50 and sold at Rs 37.66. The Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.19 and a selling rate of Rs 4.21. The UAE dirham is bought at Rs 37.21 and sold at Rs 37.37. The Malaysian ringgit is traded at Rs 32.27 for buying and Rs 32.41 for selling.
For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 10.10 and the selling rate is Rs 10.05. The Swedish krona is exchanged at Rs 14.27 (buying) and Rs 14.33 (selling), and the Danish krone at Rs 20.93 (buying) and Rs 21.02 (selling). The Hong Kong dollar is bought at Rs 17.41 and sold at Rs 17.49.
The Kuwaiti dinar is traded at Rs 446.36 for buying and Rs 448.32 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is bought at Rs 362.47 and sold at Rs 364.06. The Omani rial is exchanged at Rs 355.01 (buying) and Rs 356.57 (selling). For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is Rs 160.00 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15. NRB mentioned that these rates can change if needed.
