NRB Announces Updated Exchange Rates for Today

Nepal Rastra Bank has published today’s official foreign exchange rates. One US dollar is being bought at 143 rupees 15 paisa and sold at 143 rupees 75 paisa. One euro is bought for 168 rupees 90 paisa and sold for 169 rupees 61 paisa, while the UK pound sterling is bought at 193 rupees 37 paisa and sold at 194 rupees 18 paisa. The Swiss franc is being bought at 181 rupees 79 paisa and sold at 182 rupees 55 paisa.

Similarly, the Australian dollar is bought at 95 rupees 84 paisa and sold at 96 rupees 24 paisa. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of 104 rupees 45 paisa and a selling rate of 104 rupees 89 paisa, while the Singapore dollar is bought at 111 rupees 40 paisa and sold at 111 rupees 87 paisa. Ten Japanese yen are being bought at 9 rupees 18 paisa and sold at 9 rupees 22 paisa, and the Chinese yuan is bought at 20 rupees 37 paisa and sold at 20 rupees 45 paisa.

According to the central bank, the Saudi Arabian riyal is bought at 38 rupees 17 paisa and sold at 38 rupees 33 paisa, while the Qatari riyal is bought at 39 rupees 27 paisa and sold at 39 rupees 44 paisa. The Thai baht has a buying rate of 4 rupees 60 paisa and a selling rate of 4 rupees 62 paisa. Likewise, the UAE dirham is bought at 38 rupees 98 paisa and sold at 39 rupees 14 paisa, and the Malaysian ringgit is bought at 35 rupees 22 paisa and sold at 35 rupees 37 paisa.

In the same way, 100 South Korean won are bought at 9 rupees 67 paisa and sold at 9 rupees 71 paisa. The Swedish krona is bought at 15 rupees 60 paisa and sold at 15 rupees 67 paisa, while the Danish krone is bought at 22 rupees 61 paisa and sold at 22 rupees 71 paisa. The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of 18 rupees 41 paisa and a selling rate of 18 rupees 48 paisa.

The buying rate of the Kuwaiti dinar has been set at 466 rupees 26 paisa and the selling rate at 468 rupees 21 paisa. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar is bought at 379 rupees 65 paisa and sold at 381 rupees 24 paisa, while the Omani rial is bought at 371 rupees 81 paisa and sold at 373 rupees 37 paisa. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees for buying and 160 rupees 15 paisa for selling.
