The stock market saw a slight correction on Monday after a strong rise on Sunday. The benchmark NEPSE index fell by 10.53 points to close at 2,622.88.
Most sector indices ended lower. Only the Development Bank and Mutual Fund groups closed in positive territory.
The biggest loss was seen in the ‘Others’ sector, which dropped by 0.82 percent.
During the trading session, 337 securities were traded through 69,548 transactions. More than 10.13 million shares were bought and sold.
Total turnover fell to Rs 4.77 billion on Monday, down from Rs 5.53 billion on Sunday, when the market had jumped by 47 points.
