NEPSE Falls by 18.44 Points, Closes at 2,964.20

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed lower on Sunday, dropping by 18.44 points (0.61%) to end the day at 2,964.20. This comes after a small increase of 3.76 points in the last trading session.

The index started the day at 2,984.92 and went up to a high of 3,013.17, but later fell to a low of 2,958.34.

Throughout the day, 58.65 million shares were traded in 203,658 transactions involving 323 companies.

The total trading amount reached Rs. 26.57 billion. At the end of the day, the overall market value (market capitalization) was Rs. 4.94 trillion, while the value of shares available to the public (float market capitalization) was Rs. 1.68 trillion.
