NEPSE Falls Below 2,600 as Market Closes Lower

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 12.50 points on Sunday and dropped below the 2,600 level. It closed the day at 2,594.87 points.

The total value of shares traded during the day was Rs 4.74 billion.Out of all the companies traded, share prices of 197 companies went down, while only 56 companies saw an increase. Prices of six companies did not change.

Swastik Laghubitta gave the highest profit to investors, while City Hotel Limited recorded the biggest loss.Most sector indices declined during the session. Only the banking and mutual fund sectors managed to close with gains, while all other sectors ended in the red.
