The Nepali Congress is set to unveil its election commitment document today in Janakpurdham during a special assembly organized by the party’s Madhesh Province Committee.
Party President Gagan Kumar Thapa, Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma, and other senior leaders will address the gathering, which the party describes as a historic event promoting Madhesh’s dignity, inclusive democracy, and national unity.
According to Madhesh Province President Krishna Prasad Yadav, the party has prioritized identity, rights, inclusion, and empowerment of the Madheshi people in its agenda. He stated that Congress will move forward with clear plans focused on agricultural modernization, industrial growth, border development, youth employment, women’s empowerment, and social justice.
The party expects a large public turnout and will also brief the media about the commitment document at its central office in Kathmandu later in the day.
