Nepali Comedy Film ‘Haribahadur Ko Jutta’ Releases Trailer Ahead of Dashain

The trailer of the upcoming Nepali film Haribahadur Ko Jutta, set to release this Dashain (13 Ashoj), has been officially unveiled. Running over three minutes, the trailer centers on actor Harivansh Acharya portraying his popular character Haribahadur, highlighting the ups and downs of the character’s life.

The trailer opens with Haribahadur being released from jail and ends with him back behind bars. In between, his struggles to reintegrate into society and navigate political scheming are depicted humorously. It hints at how societal humiliation and distrust can push someone who has served their sentence back onto the wrong path.

Harivansh is seen with three wives, while Swastima Khadka plays a politician campaigning for votes. Prakash Saput appears as a cyber-army operator, and Priyanka Karki is featured as a police officer. Overall, the trailer suggests the film is heavily comedy-oriented.

Directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, Haribahadur Ko Jutta also stars Harihar Sharma, Divya Dev, Kiran KC, and Rajaram Paudel. The film is jointly produced by Saroj Oli and Mohitvansh Acharya, with cinematography by Krishna Bahadur Thapa and editing by Nahakul Khadka. Its song Bela Bitesi has already gained popularity.
