With the Class 12 annual examinations set to begin from Baisakh 11, 2082 (April 24, 2025), the National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued a strong public notice warning students, parents and schools against fake news circulating online regarding exam postponement.
The board stated that misleading information has been spreading on various social media platforms, falsely claiming that the exams have been postponed. NEB has taken serious note of such rumors, emphasizing that they are completely baseless and not officially verified.
In the notice, NEB urged all concerned individuals and institutions to rely only on the board’s official website —www.neb.gov.np — for any updates or information regarding the examination schedule.
Calling the Class 12 exam a matter of national importance that directly impacts the academic future of thousands of students, the board urged everyone to avoid spreading misinformation and support a smooth and peaceful examination process.
NEB concluded by extending its best wishes to all examinees.
