A peaceful event in Boulder, Colorado, turned violent on Sunday when a man attacked a crowd gathered to remember Israeli hostages held in Gaza. At least six elderly people were injured after the attacker threw Molotov cocktails and used a homemade flamethrower on them.

The suspect, identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, was heard shouting “Free Palestine” during the attack. Police said he targeted people near a community walk organized to show support for the hostages.

According to Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn, emergency calls came in reporting that someone was “setting people on fire.” Officers quickly arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect.

All six victims, aged 67 to 88, suffered burn injuries. One of them is in serious condition in the hospital.

A video of the incident has gone viral online. In the footage, Soliman is seen bare-chested, wearing sunglasses, and shouting angrily while holding a flamethrower and a Molotov cocktail. He can be heard yelling, "How many children have you killed?" at the group.

Police are investigating the case further, and Soliman is currently in custody.
