Minister Inspects Signature Bridge Project Over Narayani River

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport, and Urban Development Kulman Ghising on Saturday inspected the under-construction 420-metre-long signature bridge over the Narayani River.

During the inspection, Minister Ghising directed the contractor to meet all scheduled milestones and ensure timely completion of the project as per the contract. The bridge, being built at a cost of Rs 1.69 billion, is currently in its preparatory phase, with preliminary works underway. The construction team aims to complete the pile foundation before the onset of the monsoon.

Designed as a cable-stayed bridge supported by two large concrete pylon towers, the project is scheduled to be completed by Jestha 2084. Minister Ghising also reviewed the condition of the Narayani river embankment during the visit.
