Lawmakers Call for Urgent Probe into Saurya Airlines Crash

Lawmakers have sought a detailed investigation into the July 24, 2024 Saurya Airlines crash and necessary support for the families of the victims.

During today’s National Assembly meeting, MP Dhanshyam Rijal asked the government to speed up the investigation into the air disaster, which occurred during takeoff from the Tribhuvan International Airport's domestic terminal, killing 18 people. He pointed out that the families of the victims are still waiting for answers and urged the government to meet their needs.
