Koteshwor Multiple Campus has expressed its concerns over serious bullet injuries that Rebika Khatri, a BBS (third year) student of the campus, sustained while returning to her rented accommodation through the gullies near the SOS Children’s Home in Koteshwor, on March 28, when several groups were staging protests.

Rebika is currently undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Civil Hospital in Minbhawan, according a press release from the campus undersigned by its campus Chief, Prakash Pokhrel.

The campus administration has urged the government to identify the group behind the shooting incident without further delay and take stringent action against it. Wishing for a speedy recovery of the injured, it has requested the government to provide free treatment to her.
The campus has urged all concerned sides to be aware of the negative impact of such protests and incidents on the public, including students.

It has asked prospective donors (AB+ blood group) to have their names and contact numbers registered at the campus as blood of that category may be necessary during the injured student’s treatment.
