Koteshwor Campus Students Stage Protest Demanding Justice

Students of the Koteshwor Campus staged a demonstration in Koteshwor on Tuesday, demanding justice for Rebika Khatri, a BBS (third year) student of the campus, and her cousin brother Navaraj Khatri. 
Per reports, the two had sustained injuries during the protest of royalist forces near the Bhatbhateni Department Store at Koteshwor, on March 28.

Talking to nepalverifiednews.com, Prakash Pokhrel, the campus chief, confirmed that students of the campus had staged a protest on Tuesday morning demanding a fair investigation into the case and justice for the two injured.

Sanjay Budhathoki, president of the Free Students Union (Koteshwor Campus chapter), said they staged protests demanding free treatment and justice for the injured.

In the event of disabilities (in the case of Rebika, given her serious injuries), we are demanding lifelong government support for, Budhathoki said.

As part of our protests, we will submit a memorandum to the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday, Budhathoki said, warning: We the students will launch a series of protests if we get no assurances to this effect from the government.
