Journalist Jagdish Kharel Appointed Communications Minister

Prime Minister Sushila Karki has appointed veteran journalist Jagdish Kharel as the Minister for Communications and Information Technology.

With more than 25 years of experience in the media sector, Kharel’s long career in journalism was a key factor in his selection for the post.

He is set to take the oath of office and secrecy on Monday at a ceremony at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.
