House of Representatives Meeting Today to Discuss Key Ordinances and Reports

A meeting of the House of Representatives will take place today at 1 pm at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

During the meeting, six government-issued ordinances will be presented for discussion and decision. These ordinances cover a variety of topics, including amendments to Nepal Acts related to cooperatives, improving the business environment, promoting good governance, land-related issues, privatization, and fiscal responsibility.

Additionally, reports will be presented during the meeting. Finance Committee Chairman Santosh Chalise will present the reports on the Secure Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 and the Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill.

State Affairs and Good Governance Committee Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada will present the report on the Prevention of Corruption Bill, 2081. Prime Minister KP Oli will present the Annual Report of the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission for 2079-80. Finally, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel will present the Semi-Annual Evaluation Report on the Budget and Program Implementation for the Fiscal Year 2081-82.
