As demonstrations continue across parts of the country, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has urged protesting groups to come forward for talks instead of resorting to street agitation.

Speaking after a meeting with security agency chiefs at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, Aryal said the government is prepared to address political demands through peaceful dialogue. He reminded protesters to respect others’ rights and avoid damaging public or private property.

“The government is always open to discussion,” Aryal said, appealing for cooperation from all political forces and demonstrators.

The security meeting also reviewed the national law and order situation. The Home Minister said the government’s priority is to maintain peace and stability while ensuring a secure environment for the upcoming elections.
