Global IME Bank Offers Collateral-Free Loans for Camera Purchase to Photojournalists

Global IME Bank is the first private commercial bank in Nepal with branches in all 77 districts. The bank is now offering collateral-free loans to members of the National Forum of Photojournalists Nepal (NFPJ) to help them buy cameras.

The agreement was signed by Prakash Paudel, head of the banking transaction department of the bank and the chairman of NFPJ. Pradeep Raj Onta.

The bank has made its decision to provide loans ranging from 200,000 to 500,000 Nepali Rupees, which can be repaid in easy monthly installments facilities over 6 to 18 months.

To apply for the loan, photojournalists need to submit the required documents and an application form, along with a recommendation from NFPJ, to the bank.
