Israeli airstrikes have once again brought heartbreak to Gaza, killing more than 70 Palestinians in a series of attacks that hit cafes, schools, and food distribution centers. According to Al Jazeera, one of the deadliest strikes targeted the Al-Baqa café in northern Gaza City, where at least 39 people lost their lives. Other strikes hit places where civilians had gathered for basic needs—such as schools and aid centers—leaving behind a trail of devastation.
Eyewitnesses say there were no signs of military activity in these areas, and the attacks came without any warning. In one particularly shocking incident, bombs struck the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, a place that had become a shelter for thousands of displaced families. People who were already fleeing violence now find themselves with nowhere safe to go.
Gaza’s government media office has strongly condemned the attacks, calling them a “systematic crime” against the health system and civilian population. The United Nations and various human rights organizations have also raised concerns, accusing Israel of targeting essential infrastructure and putting thousands of lives at risk.
The situation continues to worsen, with little hope for immediate relief or peace.
